Safeguarding Policies

Our Commitment to Care

GrowBright International School fully recognises its responsibilities regarding child protection, and the welfare of all students is of paramount importance to our community. We aim to create a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all members of the community. We believe that all students have a right to be protected from neglect, and physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

Responsibility
We know that all learners need a secure and supportive environment in which to learn. At GBIS we believe that every child and young person, regardless of age:

  • Has at all times and in all situations the right to feel safe and included, and be protected from all forms of abuse, neglect, or harassment;
  • Should be treated fairly with dignity and respect;
  • Should be taught to understand their rights as a GBIS student and as a global citizen;
  • Adult decisions affecting children should be made in the best interest of the child.

GBIS is committed to our safeguarding processes to prevent the risk of harm to children’s health or development. GBIS expects all individuals and groups associated with our school community to act with integrity and to take responsibility for keeping students safe and included. Whether you are a staff member, a coach, guest, parent or visitor, we expect you to support our students and act with their well-being in mind at all times.

  • Mandatory Training: Regular safeguarding updates for all our academic and non academic staff.

Health, Safety, and Campus Security

Our school is maintained with strict safety standards to ensure a hazard-free environment for exploration.

Digital Safety & Citizenship

As a future-ready school, we enable students to utilise technology responsibly while maintaining strong defences against online risks.
